About this release
(back to top)Installing this release will upgrade Alta Aware® video management systems, and, if needed to maintain feature compatibility, any Avigilon Ava cameras associated with your deployment.

Use email address as user name |
When you first log into Alta Aware after upgrading to version 6.0.6, you are asked to provide and verify your email address. Once verified, your email address becomes your user name and must subsequently be used to log into Alta Aware. ONVIF mode for Avigilon Ava cameras |
Avigilon Ava Flex, Compact Dome, 360, Dome, and Bullet cameras can now be configured to operate in ONVIF mode. When in ONVIF mode, the zoom features on Avigilon Ava Dome and Bullet cameras might not function correctly. Avigilon Ava Quad cameras cannot be put into ONVIF mode at this time. |
