How to: Download historic object count information

You can download information from the Counts tool for further analysis. This information is exported in comma separated variable (.csv) format, which can be opened and analyzed in most commonly available spreadsheet programs.

Prerequisites

You must set up a rule in the Counts tool to generate object count data.

Task — Download the object count data

  1. Choose Tools Tools > Counts Counts.
  2. Choose to download count date for either Objects in view or Line crossing.
  3. Select the required information to download.
  4. Click Download CSV.
  5. Set the Start date and time, End date and time, the Sample interval between each entry, and the Time location.
  6. Click Download.
    The .csv file is downloaded to the default download location for your computer or browser.
  7. Open the .csv file in the spreadsheet program of your choice.
